GETTING TO THE LAKES CAIRNS
Arrival by air or trainWe can pre-book a transfer from the airport to the resort at a cost of $15 per apartment (Max eight passengers - one transfer per booking). Please advise flight details at the time of booking and we will arrange this service for you.
Arrival by car
Driving from North (Port Douglas or Palm Cove) - Follow Captain Cook Highway into Cairns, turn right on to Arthur St (second traffic lights after airport turn off). Arthur St becomes Greenslopes St after the train track. Drive through the roundabout and turn into the reception driveway on right.
Driving from South (Townsville or Mission Beach) - Follow Mulgrave Rd into Cairns city. Turn left onto Sheridan St (first left after FORD). Follow Sheridan St for approx 3km and turn left onto Arthur St (first left after ANZ Bank). Arthur St becomes Greenslopes St after the train track. Drive through the roundabout and turn into the reception driveway on right.

Our Day Spa is open five days (Tuesday to Saturday) but does get very busy so prior bookings are essential. If you are planning some renewal during your stay we suggest that we pre-book this for you to ensure you don't miss out. Go to Reds Day Spa & Salon for services available.FOOD AND BEVERAGE
We have designed our food experiences to capture the essence of holiday dining. You will discover many options to suit your tastes everyday. Let's face it, variety when you're on holiday makes it that much more interesting. Our suggestion is that you experience all of our dining options from a BBQ around the pool to our relaxed family restaurant. We look forward to pleasing your appetite. Our reception staff can recommend and book a variety of touring companies, also allowing you to conveniently add these to your room bill. Most tours offer return transfers to and from The Lakes.GROCERY AND LIQUOR SHOPPING
We have a well-stocked resort store to provide you with all the essentials, such as alcohol, milk, bread and bathroom amenities. There is also a small supermarket five minutes walk from The Lakes.For convenience on your arrival, we can provide a breakfast hamper delivered to your apartment, from $9.99 per person (minimum two people). Please advise me when booking and this can be conveniently charged to your bill on check out.
